Baseball Recap: Sonoma Academy's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

While Sonoma Academy's win against Calistoga wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Coyotes won by a run and slipped past the Wildcats 4-3. The victory was familiar territory for the Coyotes, who have now won three contests in a row.

Sonoma Academy saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sean Stroud, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one run and one RBI. Sam Tyko was another, going 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and one run.

Sonoma Academy's record is now 12-5. As for Calistoga, they now have a losing record of 6-7.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Sonoma Academy is set to take on their familiar foe Technology at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Calistoga will challenge rival Credo at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
