Soccer Recap: Franklin Parish Takes a Loss

Franklin Parish was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Ouachita Parish Lions, falling 8-0. That's two games in a row now that the Patriots have lost by exactly eight goals.

Franklin Parish's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Ouachita Parish, their win ended a six-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-8-1.

Franklin Parish will head out to face off against Minden at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Ouachita Parish, they will be playing at home against St. Amant at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Ouachita Parish knows how to get goals on the board -- the squad has finished with four goals or more in their past four matches -- so hopefully St. Amant likes a good challenge.
