Basketball Recap: Davenport North Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Davenport North can now relate to. They were dealt a 62-34 loss at the hands of the Kennedy Cougars on Tuesday. The match marked the Wildcats' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

The defeat snapped Davenport North's winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 16-9 record. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 83.8 points over those games. As for Kennedy, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 22-5.

As of now, neither Davenport North nor Kennedy have any future games scheduled.
