Baseball Game Preview: Cannon Cougars vs. Charlotte Christian Knights

For the second straight game, Cannon will face off against Charlotte Christian. The Cougars will be playing at home against the Knights at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The squads are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Cannon has struggled recently with five losses in a row, while Charlotte Christian will arrive with four straight victories.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Cannon's offense. They came up short against Charlotte Christian on Tuesday, falling 10-0.

For Charlotte Christian's part, Will Parrish looked comfortable as he kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out six over four innings pitched. Parrish has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up a single earned run in three consecutive appearances.
