Union County entered their tilt with Keystone Heights on Thursday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past the Indians 3-0. That's more bragging rights for the Fightin' Tigers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Union County never let Keystone Heights on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-22, 25-10.

Union County's offense was headlined by Mallory Waugh and Jailyn Simmons, who picked up nine kills apiece. They got some help from Abby Williams and her 20 assists. She also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Bella Johns, racking up four apiece.

Keystone Heights' loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Mia Rivera, who had eight kills and one block. Rivera is crushing it when it comes to kills: she's had at least eight every time she's taken the court this season.

Union County's win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Keystone Heights, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season.

Union County wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Newberry on the 2nd. As for Keystone Heights, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Baker County on the 2nd.
