Parker skates past Jackson-Olin with ease

Recap: Parker Thundering Herd vs. Jackson-Olin Mustangs
The Parker Thundering Herd won against the Jackson-Olin Mustangs on Friday with 70 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. Parker blew past Jackson-Olin 70-23 at home. Given Parker's advantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 29th, while Jackson-Olin is ranked 328th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Parker pushed their record up to 20-8 with that victory, which was their eighth straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.8 points per game. As for Jackson-Olin, they are on a 21-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-21.
Parker will head out on the road to challenge Minor at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Minor focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 17 on Friday. As for Jackson-Olin, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Homewood at 7:30 p.m.
