Pearce is 9-1 against Nimitz since April of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Mustangs will head out on the road to take on the Vikings at 7:00 p.m. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Mustangs on Saturday. Pearce fell just short of Sachse by a score of 3-2. The loss continues a trend for Pearce in their meetings with Sachse: they've now lost three in a row.

Meanwhile, Nimitz suffered their biggest defeat since March 13th on Friday. They lost 9-1 to Lake Highlands.

Nimitz got a good showing from Angel Aleman, who pitched 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.

Pearce's loss dropped their record down to 13-13. As for Nimitz, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-14.
