Basketball Recap: Francis W. Parker Piles Up the Points Against Josephinum

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Francis W. Parker). They claimed a resounding 63-6 win over the Josephinum Cougars. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Colonels considering their 24-point performance the contest before.

Francis W. Parker got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Spencer Dunbar out in front who dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten boards. Jojo Husbeck was another key player, going 5 of 9 on her way to 10 points and seven rebounds.

Francis W. Parker smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 24 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've posted since back in December of 2023.

The win made it two in a row for Francis W. Parker and bumps their season record up to 2-8. As for Josephinum, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.

Francis W. Parker will venture away from home to take on Beacon Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Josephinum, they will head out to face off against Morgan Park at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
