Softball Recap: Devils Lake Snaps Six-Game Streak of Losses at Home

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Valley City, Devils Lake was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 12-2 margin over the Grafton Spoilers. That ten run margin sets a new team best for the Firebirds this season.

Devils Lake's win ended a six-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-2. As for Grafton, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Devils Lake will venture away from home to face off against Fargo Davies at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Grafton, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Langdon at 4:30 p.m. on the 28th.
