Basketball Recap: Enka Comes Up Short on the Road Against North Henderson + How To Watch

Enka had to start their season on the road on Friday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They received a blow as they fell 89-74 to the North Henderson Knights. The loss continues a trend for the Jets in their meetings with the Knights: they've now lost four in a row.

Enka's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Logan Trantham, who went 5-for-12 on his way to 17 points and three steals. Lawson McClure was another key player, putting up 15 points and five boards.

North Henderson got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Titus Moore out in front who almost dropped a double-double with 22 points and nine rebounds. Moore is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 46% in the last five games he's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Brayden Hudson, who shot 67% from the field en route to 17 points.

Enka wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 91-75 win against West Henderson on the 19th. As for North Henderson, they have also already played their next contest, a 74-52 victory against Avery County on the 19th.
