Assumption strolled into their game on Saturday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Cathedral Fighting Irish. The Rockets have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Fighting Irish, too.

The final score came out to 25-21, 25-18, 23-25, 25-16.

Emily Keiran had an outrageously good game as she had 26 digs. That's the most digs she has posted since back in September of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Iris Williams, who had eight digs and two aces.

Assumption was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 11 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

Despite the loss, Cathedral still got an impressive performance from Annabelle Hoban, who had 19 digs and three assists. With that strong performance, Hoban is now averaging an impressive 10.6 digs per game.

Assumption's record now sits at 9-0. As for Cathedral, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-3.

Assumption has already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Sacred Heart on the 2nd. As for Cathedral, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-2 win against Roncalli on the 3rd.
