Volleyball Recap: Tuesday's Victory Is Crofton's Eighth in Last Nine Outings

There's no place like home for Crofton, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the West Holt Huskies on Tuesday. That's more bragging rights for the Warriors, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-22, 19-25, 25-18.

Jaisie Janssen paced Crofton's offense, picking up 15 kills. Janssen got some help from Jaida Allen and her 27 assists. Sammie Allen controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Crofton has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 21-6 record this season. As for West Holt, their defeat dropped their record down to 20-10.

Crofton will welcome Elgin/Pope John at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. West Holt does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
