Volleyball Recap: Wayne Comes Up Short

Wayne was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Brockport Blue Devils. The Eagles were not able to make up for their loss to the Blue Devils from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Wayne's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Brockport, they pushed their record up to 2-0 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, after both having extra time off, Wayne and World of Inquiry will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Brockport, they will challenge St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute at 7:30 p.m. on the 9th.
