North Farmington took a ten-run defeat the last time they faced off against Troy, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Raiders sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-2 victory over the Colts on Monday. For the Raiders, this counts as revenge for the 17-7 win the Colts walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2023.

The victory made it two in a row for North Farmington and bumps their season record up to 7-12. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of 1.5 runs across that stretch. As for Troy, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-4.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: North Farmington beat the Colts by a score of 9-1 on Tuesday.
