Recap: Cedarcrest Red Wolves vs. Archbishop Murphy Wildcats
If the Cedarcrest Red Wolves were feeling good off their 61-16 takedown of the Cascade Bruins last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Cedarcrest was outmatched by Archbishop Murphy on the road and fell 78-33. Cedarcrest has struggled against Archbishop Murphy recently, as their match on Friday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Despite the defeat, Cedarcrest saw an underclassman step up: Kiki Anderson scored 17 points along with seven rebounds. Anderson hasn't dropped below 15points for three straight games.
Cedarcrest's loss dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Archbishop Murphy, their win bumped their record up to 5-1.
Cedarcrest's road trip will continue as they head out to face Marysville Getchell at 7:15 p.m. on January 15th. Marysville Getchell is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak. As for Archbishop Murphy, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Lynnwood at 7:15 p.m. Lynnwood is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
