Basketball Recap: Clarkson/Leigh Takes a Loss

Clarkson/Leigh played a tough matchup on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt a 70-30 defeat at the hands of the Pierce Bluejays. The loss continues a trend for the Patriots in their matchups with the Bluejays: they've now lost five in a row.

Despite the loss, Clarkson/Leigh still got an impressive performance from Korbin Lemburg, who posted ten points and six boards.

Clarkson/Leigh's defeat dropped their record down to 2-18. As for Pierce, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 7-13 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Clarkson/Leigh will take on Stanton at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. We've got a battle between Bluejays coming up. Pierce is facing Guardian Angels Central Catholic at the right time seeing as Guardian Angels Central Catholic is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
