For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Lincoln and St. Clair County meet (five straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Thursday. The Golden Bears came out on top against the Fighting Saints by a score of 8-3. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 3-2 victory on Thursday.

Lincoln's victory bumped their record up to 17-11. As for St. Clair County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 15-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lincoln will take on Munford at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for St. Clair County, they will square off against Leeds at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
