Volleyball Recap: Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln Takes a Loss

Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wausau East Lumberjacks. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Lumberjacks this season, with their most recent defeat being a 3-1 loss back in September.

Dani Rosenthal paced Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln's offense, picking up 11 kills. Rosenthal got some help from Avery Dunn and her 24 assists. Rosenthal also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Ruby Marti, each putting up three.

Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln's defeat dropped their record down to 5-20. As for Wausau East, their record now sits at 5-19.

Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Marshfield on the 11th. As for Wausau East, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Wausau West on the 11th.
