Cadott hadn't done well against Fall Creek recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Hornets walked away with a 7-4 victory over the Crickets. This was a revenge game for the Hornets: when they faced off against the Crickets last Tuesday, they had to take a 7-5 defeat.

The win made it two in a row for Cadott and bumps their season record up to 3-4. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.5 runs over those games. As for Fall Creek, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 4-5.
