Soccer Game Preview: Moberly vs. Green Ridge

The Moberly Spartans will take on the Green Ridge Tigers in a tournament on Friday. Moberly is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.5 goals per game this season.

On Thursday, Moberly needed a bit of extra time to put away Marshall. They had just enough and edged out the Owls 3-2. Moberly better thank their lucky stars for the performance of Jacob Tustison, as he scored every single goal for his team.

Meanwhile, Green Ridge came up short against Lone Jack on Thursday and fell 3-1.

Moberly pushed their record up to 8-5 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 27 goals over those six contests. As for Green Ridge, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
