The Bangor Slaters made easy work of the Lehighton Indians on Saturday and carried off a 15-4 win. The result was nothing new for the Slaters, who have now won nine matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Bangor's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-9. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for Lehighton, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-13.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bangor will challenge Pen Argyl at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Green Knights' pitching crew has only allowed 2.1 runs per game this season, so the Slaters' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Lehighton, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Jim Thorpe at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The Indians are facing the Olympians at the right time seeing as the Olympians are stuck on an 11-game losing streak.
