The biggest upset of the week belonged to Kingman, who took down 85th ranked Halstead, 29-28. Mitchell Packard threw for 66 yards and two touchdowns and ran for 25 yards in the win.

The Eagles moved up to 151 from 177 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Central Kansas. A 29-28 win over the Dragons helped Kingman improve its standing.

Hillsboro's dynamic duo of Tyler Proffitt and Tyrell Thiessen proved tough for Remington to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Proffitt threw for 139 yards and two touchdowns and Thiessen had 79 yards receiving. Evan Ollenburger helped Hillsboro's passing attack out by catching three balls for 35 yards.

Braxton Bangert was the most productive running back in the league this week. In 14 carries, he ran for 124 yards as Curtis Albin's team topped the Broncos. Zach Andersen also contributed to the rushing game with 110 yards on the ground.

Hillsboro's Proffitt and Shaq Thiessen have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Proffitt has thrown for 1237 yards this season, while Thiessen, a 5-foot-11 receiver, has 18 catches for 519 yards. The Eagles' Bangert leads the league in rushing yards with 571.

Lance Sawyer's team extended the longest winning streak in Central Kansas this week by beating Remington, 42-0. The win marks sixth in a row for the the Trojans.
