Baseball Game Preview: Chapmanville Regional Tigers vs. Man Hillbillies

The Chapmanville Regional Tigers will square off against the Man Hillbillies at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Chapmanville Regional took a loss when they played away from home on Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Saturday. They walked away with an 8-3 win over Wayne.

Meanwhile, Man made easy work of Tolsia on Saturday and carried off a 13-4 victory. The win continues a trend for the Hillbillies in their matchups with the Rebels: they've now won seven in a row.

Man pushed their record up to 5-2 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.3 runs over those games. As for Chapmanville Regional, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Chapmanville Regional couldn't quite finish off Man in their previous meeting back in April of 2024 and fell 5-3. Can Chapmanville Regional avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
