Palma came tearing into Wednesday's contest with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 2.3 goals) and they left with even more momentum. Their defense stepped up to hand the Stevenson Pirates a 1-0 shutout. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-2 back in January.

Palma's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-3. As for Stevenson, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-11.
