Basketball Game Preview: Pershing County Mustangs vs. Lowry Buckaroos

Having just played yesterday, the Pershing County Mustangs will get right back to it and host the Lowry Buckaroos at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Mustangs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine contests by 22 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Lowry faced Fernley in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. Lowry fell 51-41 to Fernley. The Buckaroos' defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

That was a full 56.1% of Lowry's points, marking the 13th time in a row she's put up more than a third of the team's points. Lowry's loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 10-5. As for Pershing County, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season.
