Football Recap: Greenwich Piles Up the Points Against Rensselaer/Loudonville Christian

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Greenwich). They blew past the Rensselaer/Loudonville Christian Rams 71-6 on Friday. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Witches' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' New York football rankings (they are ranked 147th, while the Rams are ranked 556th).

The victory keeps Greenwich at an undefeated 5-0. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 2.6 points on average this season. As for Rensselaer/Loudonville Christian, they are on a 12-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.
