Volleyball Game Preview: Sunlake Seahawks vs. Sickles Gryphons + How To Watch

After both having extra time off, the Sunlake Seahawks and the Sickles Gryphons will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Sunlake heads in on the heels of a playoff contest on Thursday. They fell just short of East Lake by a score of 3-2. The Seahawks' loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Sunlake took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The match finished with set scores of 16-25, 25-20, 24-26, 25-21, 15-13.

Meanwhile, Sickles didn't have quite enough to beat Largo on Thursday and fell 3-2.

Sunlake's defeat dropped their record down to 19-7. As for Sickles, they now have a losing record of 13-14.

Sunlake beat Sickles 2-0 in their previous meeting back in September of 2022. Will the Seahawks repeat their success, or do the Gryphons have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
