Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Davenport North). They walked away with a 14-9 win over the North Scott Lancers on Monday. The victory was familiar territory for the Wildcats, who have now won four matchups in a row.

Davenport North pushed their record up to 7-3 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.5 runs on average over those games. As for North Scott, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-6.
