Baseball Game Preview: King Wolves vs. Centennial Huskies

King hasn't had much luck against Centennial recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Wolves will head out on the road to face off against the Huskies at 4:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

King fell victim to Santiago and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They took a 3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Sharks.

Michael Lamb was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he didn't allow a single earned run over five innings pitched.

On the hitting side, King saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Adan Diaz, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Meanwhile, Centennial lost 9-3 to Corona on Friday.

King's record now sits at 10-10. As for Centennial, their record is now 9-13.

King came up short against Centennial when the teams last played back in May of 2025, falling 15-10. Can the Wolves avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
