Volleyball Recap: Green Bay East Takes Loss Despite Strong Performances from Amaya Neuaone and Alexas Esquivel

Green Bay East was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the New London Bulldogs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Red Devils of the 3-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Green Bay East was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made New London work for it, especially in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-17, 27-25.

Green Bay East's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Alexas Esquivel, who had five digs and three aces, and Amaya Neuaone, who had five digs and two aces.

Green Bay East's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for New London, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-12.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Green Bay East will head out to challenge Sheboygan South at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for New London, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Shawano Community at 7:00 p.m. on October 14.
