Soccer Game Preview: SA Roosevelt vs. Clark

SA Roosevelt hasn't had much luck against Clark recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The SA Roosevelt Rough Riders will take on the Clark Cougars at 5:00 p.m. SA Roosevelt has given up an average of 5.2 goals per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week.

SA Roosevelt is headed into Tuesday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 13th straight game on Saturday. They lost 8-0 to Churchill.

Meanwhile, Clark waltzed into their game on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came within a single goal of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Broncos. The score was all tied up 1-1 at the break, but the Cougars were the better team in the second half.

They hit Brandeis with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Leona King, Maddy Segars, and Brinley Jenkins.

SA Roosevelt's loss dropped their record down to 2-17. As for Clark, their victory bumped their record up to 11-4.

SA Roosevelt suffered a grim 8-0 defeat to Clark in their previous meeting back in February. Can SA Roosevelt avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
