Soccer Recap: Fleming County Comes Up Short

Fleming County managed to slip by Boyd County the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Panthers came up short against the Lions on Tuesday, falling 8-0. Fleming County were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Boyd County apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

Fleming County's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Boyd County, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fleming County will look to takes advantage of their home pitch for the first time this season as they takes on Ripley-Union-Lewis-Huntington at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Boyd County, they will take on Martin County at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
