Basketball Recap: Maryknoll Falls Short Against Ranked St. Louis

On Saturday, Maryknoll faced St. Louis in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Maryknoll Spartans fell just short of the St. Louis Crusaders by a score of 48-45. The Spartans have been going strong on the season, but this is now their second loss in a row.

Maryknoll's defeat dropped their record down to 18-9. As for St. Louis, the win keeps them at an undefeated 23-0.

Maryknoll wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 55-49 victory against 'Iolani on the 27th. As for St. Louis, they will challenge Mid-Pacific Institute at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
