Volleyball Recap: Waverly-Shell Rock Takes a Loss

Waverly-Shell Rock entered their game against St. Ansgar on Saturday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Go-Hawks fell just short of the Saints by a score of 2-1. The Go-Hawks were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Saints apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2016.

Waverly-Shell Rock's loss dropped their record down to 6-5. As for St. Ansgar, their win bumped their record up to 11-2.

Waverly-Shell Rock has already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Nevada on the 13th. As for St. Ansgar, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Cedar Falls on the 13th.
