With a playoff win on the line, Santa Fe rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They took down Gilman City/North Daviess 53-37. The win was nothing new for the Chiefs as they're now sitting on eight straight.

It was another big night for Emma Michael, who went 9-for-20 to rack up 21 points in addition to eight rebounds and five blocks. She is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed three or more in each of the last seven games she's played. Another player making a difference was Mia Lark, who posted nine points and five steals.

Santa Fe was working as a unit and finished the game with 16 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in December of 2024.

Santa Fe's victory bumped their record up to 21-5. As for Gilman City/North Daviess, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Looking ahead, Santa Fe will face off against Rock Port at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Gilman City/North Daviess does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
