Sylvania was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 15-8 to the North Sand Mountain Bison. One positive for the Rams, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Sylvania saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kelby Graham, who scored two runs and stole three bases while going 2-for-3. Those runs were Graham's first of the season. Eli Mattox was another, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.

Sylvania's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for North Sand Mountain, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Coming up, Sylvania is taking a road trip to square off against Pisgah at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for North Sand Mountain, they will host Hanceville at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
