That's the most hits Johnson has posted since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Michael Belcher, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and two RBI.

Stanton's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Paxon School For Advanced Studies, their win bumped their record up to 4-2.

Thursday's game might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Stanton has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .483. However, it's not like Paxon School For Advanced Studies struggles in that department as they've averaged .440. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.

Stanton might still be hurting after the 10-2 loss they got from Paxon School For Advanced Studies in their previous matchup back in March of 2024. Can Stanton avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
