Preview: Parkwood Wolf Pack vs. Forest Hills Yellow Jackets

Parkwood and Forest Hills are an even 5-5 against one another since November of 2018, but not for long. The Parkwood Wolf Pack will look to defend their home court on Friday against the Forest Hills Yellow Jackets at 7:30 p.m. Parkwood knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past 11 matches -- so hopefully Forest Hills likes a good challenge.

Even though Piedmont scored an imposing 65 points on Friday, Parkwood still came out on top. Parkwood took their matchup against Piedmont 72-65.

It was another big night for Greg Vinson, who scored 25 points along with six assists. Another player making a difference was Cameron McKinney, who scored 15 points along with eight rebounds and three steals.

Forest Hills suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Tuesday. They took a serious blow against Monroe, falling 76-49. Forest Hills was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 48-25.

Parkwood pushed their record up to 10-6 with that victory, which was their fifth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.4 points per game. As for Forest Hills, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-8.

Parkwood strolled past Forest Hills when the teams last played on January 2nd by a score of 77-58. Does Parkwood have another victory up their sleeve, or will Forest Hills turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
