Bathgate has gone a perfect 10-0 against Smith recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The two teams, after both having extra time off, will shake off the cobwebs and hit the field at 4:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Bathgate has three straight wins, Smith has six straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Smith's hitters are going to have their work cut out for them on Wednesday: Bathgate hadn't allowed a single run the last three times they've hit the field. Everything went the Bulldogs' way against Dodge Vocational last Wednesday as they made off with a 7-0 victory. Considering the Bulldogs have won three games by more than six runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Smith fell victim to KIPP NYC College Prep and their airtight pitching crew last Wednesday. They lost 10-0 to the Bulldogs.

Smith's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Bathgate, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.

Bathgate was able to grind out a solid victory over Smith in their previous matchup back in May of 2024, winning 4-0. Do the Bulldogs have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Warriors turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
