Soccer Recap: St. Francis Takes a Loss

St. Francis lost against Big Rapids back in April of 2019, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Gladiators fell just short of the Cardinals by a score of 3-2. That's two games in a row now that St. Francis have lost by just one goal.

This is the second loss in a row for St. Francis and nudges their season record down to 6-4. As for Big Rapids, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-1.

Looking ahead, St. Francis will face off against Charlevoix at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Big Rapids, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 win against Gaylord on the 26th.
