Basketball Recap: Takini Takes a Loss

Takini was the 69-61 winner over Edgemont when they last played one another back in February of 2020, but their luck changed this time around. The Takini Skyhawks lost 67-46 to the Edgemont Moguls on Thursday. The Skyhawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Edgemont to victory, but perhaps none more so than Chase Alexander, who dropped a double-double with 20 points and 12 boards. Those 20 points gave Alexander a new career-high. Sebastian Morse was another key player, dropping a double-double with 18 points and ten rebounds.

Takini's loss dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Edgemont, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-13.

Takini does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Edgemont, they have already played their next game, a 73-35 defeat against Harding County on the 21st.
