Softball Recap: Cary-Grove Takes a Loss

Cary-Grove lost against Crystal Lake Central on April 9th, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Trojans lost 11-2 to the Tigers. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Aubrey Longergan made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one double.

Cary-Grove's loss dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Crystal Lake Central, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 13-5.

Cary-Grove didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 7-2 defeat against McHenry on the 1st. As for Crystal Lake Central, they have also already played their next game, an 8-2 win against Dundee-Crown on the 1st.
