Softball Recap: Elyria Takes a Loss

Elyria came into their game on Wednesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the St. Stephens Indians, falling 8-0.

Elyria has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season. As for St. Stephens, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-11 record this season.

Elyria has already played their next contest, a 6-4 defeat against Mapleton on the 26th. As for St. Stephens, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 12-2 victory against West Iredell on the 28th.
