Baseball Recap: Palmyra-Eagle Takes a Loss

Palmyra-Eagle fell victim to Johnson Creek and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They lost 12-0 to the Bluejays. The loss continues a trend for the Panthers in their meetings with the Bluejays: they've now lost five in a row.

Palmyra-Eagle saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was D Walsh, who went 1-for-2 with one double. That double marked the first that Walsh has hit this season.

Palmyra-Eagle's defeat dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Johnson Creek, they pushed their record up to 7-4 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Palmyra-Eagle will take on Shoreland Lutheran at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Johnson Creek, they will venture away from home to face off against Parkview at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
