Bishop O'Connell entered their tilt with Audubon on Saturday with nine consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with ten. They walked away with a 9-5 victory over the Green Wave. That's two games straight that the Knights have won by exactly four runs.

Drew Markey spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered three earned (and two unearned) runs on ten hits and racked up six Ks. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, James Robinson and Truman Leckey did most of the damage at the plate: Robinson went 2-for-3 with one home run and two runs, while Leckey got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. Another player making a difference was Nick Ferrara, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with one double.

Bishop O'Connell's win bumped their record up to 19-4. As for Audubon, their loss dropped their record down to 6-3.
