Volleyball Recap: West Haven Blue Devils vs. Foran Lions
West Haven was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 3-0 to the Foran Lions, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Blue Devils were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Lions apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2023.

Foran's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Nyah Boromei led the charge by getting seven digs and three aces. Boromei is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in the last five games she's played dating back to last season. The team also got some help courtesy of Gaby Magnuson, who had 16 digs.
West Haven's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Foran, the win for them keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.
West Haven will take on Sacred Heart Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Foran, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory vs. Hamden on the 11th.
