Basketball Recap: West Central Co-Op [Winchester-Bluffs] Continues Home Dominance on Friday

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but West Central co-op [Winchester-Bluffs] had no problem doing just that on Friday. They pulled ahead with a 58-57 photo finish over the Calvary Saints. The win was familiar territory for the Cougars, who have now won four games in a row.

Calvary's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Luke Blackford, who shot 57% from the field en route to 18 points and seven boards. The contest was Blackford's 25th in a row with at least 16 points. Another player making a difference was Antione Hunter, who went 6-for-15 to rack up 18 points.
