Volleyball Recap: Irving Takes a Loss

Irving was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 16th straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Math Science & Engineering. If Irving was looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to Math Science & Engineering when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Irving's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Math Science & Engineering, they moved to 2-3 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

While Irving had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
