Basketball Recap: Rock Port Takes a Loss

Rock Port lost against Nodaway Valley co-op [West Nodaway/Nodaway-Holt] back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Rock Port Blue Jays received a blow as they fell 62-47 to Nodaway Valley co-op [West Nodaway/Nodaway-Holt].

Rock Port's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 7-1 and their overall record down to 18-4. As for Nodaway Valley co-op [West Nodaway/Nodaway-Holt], the win was the 12th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 19-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rock Port will venture away from home to challenge Mound City at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Nodaway Valley co-op [West Nodaway/Nodaway-Holt], they will head out to square off against Pattonsburg at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
