Soccer Game Preview: Cary-Grove vs. Carmel

The Cary-Grove Trojans will challenge the Carmel Corsairs at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Cary-Grove's last three matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Last Tuesday, Cary-Grove didn't have quite enough to beat Maine South and fell 2-1.

The Trojans' goal came courtesy of Malaina Kurth, which was the first she's scored this season.

Meanwhile, Carmel fell victim to Libertyville and their airtight defense on Thursday. They fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 1-0. That's two games in a row now that Carmel have lost by just one goal.

Cary-Grove now has a losing record of 1-2-1. As for Carmel, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4-1.
